Centurion: India were at 183/5, trailed by 152 runs at stumps on Sunday, the second day of their second Test against South Africa at the SuperSport Park here.

Skipper Virat Kohli (85) and Hardik Pandya (11) were at the crease when umpires dislodged the bails for the day.

For South Africa, Keshav Maharaj, Morne Morkel, Kagiso Rabada and debutant Lungisani Ngidi took one wicket each.

Earlier in the day, South Africa bowled out before lunch break at the score of 335 runs in the first inning.The host this morning resumed their first innings at the overnight score of 269 for 6 on Day 2 of the Centurion Test on Sunday. When the stumps were drawn on Saturday, skipper Faf du Plessis on 24 and Keshav Maharaj on 10 were at the crease. Ishant Sharma bowled SA skipper Faf du Plessis, when he was on 63 this morning.

Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin scalped four wickets for 113 runs while pacer Ishant Sharma took three for 46.

South Africa had won the toss and opted to bat. With Aiden Markram's 94 and Hashim Amla's 82, the hosts had dominated the proceedings, before India bagged three wickets in three overs to close the day on a positive note.

This is the second Test of the 3-match series. South Africa had won the first Test at Cape Town by 72 runs.
